APPOINTMENT OF PETER LANGWORTHY AS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Gateway Mining Limited ( the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of highly experienced Australian mining executive Mr Peter Langworthy as Managing Director, effective immediately, to drive the Company’s new WA gold strategy.

The appointment follows the Company’s recently announced strategic refocus on an expanded and consolidated ground position at its flagship Gidgee Gold Project in Western Australia.

Mr Langworthy is an accomplished geologist and mining executive with a career spanning more than 32 years in mineral exploration and project development in Australia and internationally.

His industry experience includes senior management roles with WMC Resources Limited, PacMin Mining Limited and Jubilee Mines NL, where he led the exploration team that was responsible for several major discoveries which led to its eventual $3.3 billion acquisition by Xstrata.

Mr Langworthy holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) (Hons) from Macquarie University. He is currently also a non-executive director of emerging gold producer Capricorn Metals, is nonexecutive Chairman of junior copper and gold company Syndicated Metals and non-executive director of Silver Mines Limited.

He previously held non-executive directorships with Northern Star Resources Limited, Talisman Mining Limited, Falcon Minerals Limited and Pioneer Resources Limited.

In addition to Mr Langworthy’s appointment, the Company also advises that Mr Andrew Bray has resigned from the Board as Managing Director to focus on other projects.

However, Mr Bray will remain with the Company in a consultancy capacity, assisting with capital markets, M&A and strategy work. Mr Bray has been with the Company since 2012, and has been instrumental to its development and success.
