GATEWAY STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH TWO NEW NONEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENTS

NEW ADDITIONS BRING ADDITIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT, COMMERCIAL AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE EXPERTISE

Gateway Mining Limited ( the Company ) is pleased to advise that it has further strengthened its board with the appointment of Ms Debbie Fullarton and Mr Scott Brown as non-executive Directors and the appointment of a dedicated Company Secretary.

The new appointments bring additional corporate and strategic expertise to the board which will be invaluable as the Company progresses its previously announced WA gold strategy, based on an aggressive exploration program at the expanded and consolidated Gidgee Gold Project.

Ms Fullarton is an experienced Chartered Accountant with 25 years’ experience in senior roles including as Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and Financial Manager at Auris Minerals Ltd and De Beers Australia Exploration Limited.

Ms Fullarton completed her professional training with Deloitte and holds a Bachelor of Accounting with Honours from the University of South Africa. Ms Fullarton has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia since 2005.

Mr Brown is a Company Director with 25 years’ experience in project management, business development and logistics across the commercial construction, security risk-management and resource sectors, both in Australia and internationally.

Commenting on the appointments, Trent Franklin, Gateway’s non-executive Chairman, said:

They are tremendous additions to our team and join us at an exciting time as we embark on a gold exploration strategy at the Gidgee Gold Project aimed at transforming the Company into a significant player in the Australian gold scene. Both directors share our positive view and vision regarding the potential of Gidgee and our other regional assets, and their experience will be invaluable as we deliver on our growth strategy.”

Appointment of Company Secretary

In preparation for an increase in the Company’s activities, Gateway is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Kar Chua as Company Secretary. Mr Chua has a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He has a range of experience in assisting a number of ASX-listed companies with their reporting and

accounting functions, in addition to having a background in reporting responsibilities for a subsidiary of a substantial multi-national company.

Mr Chua is also currently Company Secretary of ASX listed company Raven Energy Limited and an unlisted coal exploration company Futura Resources Limited.

In conjunction with these appointments, Mr Gary Franklin has resigned from the Board as a nonexecutive director and from the position of Company Secretary. Mr Gary Franklin has been with the Company since 2016, and has been instrumental to its development and success.

The Board and management of Gateway would like to express their sincere thanks to Mr Gary Franklin for his considerable contribution to the management and growth of the Company and his support during the recent transition.

Following these changes, the new Board structure is as follows:

• Peter Langworthy – Managing Director;

• Trent Franklin – Non-Executive Chairman;

• Debbie Fullarton – Non-Executive Director; and

• Scott Brown – Non-Executive Director.
