The purpose hereof is to inform you -in compliance with the regulations in force- that we have been informed by our shareholder Compañía de Inversiones de Energía S.A. (CIESA) that Ashmore Energy International Limited (currently denominated AEI) notified its decision to terminate the Restructuring Agreement for CIESA’s financial debt with AEI dated September 1, 2005, entered into by and among CIESA, Petrobras Energía S.A. and Petrobras Hispano Argentina S.A., Enron Pipeline Company Argentina S.A. and ABN AMRO BANK N.V. Sucursal Argentina.
