GARDA BOARD UPDATE
GARDA Property Group ( GARDA ) announces that Morgan Parker has retired as an independent director, effective 22 March 2023, due to his increasing international commitments.
Mr Parker, a veteran real estate professional, has been a director of GARDA since December 2018, was Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Executive Chairman, Matthew Madsen, said: “The Board thanks Morgan for his important contribution and dedication to GARDA through a period of change and strong growth for the Group. We very much valued Morgan’s broad experience working with international and domestic real estate businesses and his expertise in strategy and governance as we positioned GARDA for the future.”
Following Mr Parker’s retirement, Paul Leitch, who is currently Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, will also assume the role of Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee.
The Board will seek to fill the vacancy left by Morgan with a new independent director.
