Board and Executive Changes
The Board of GARDA Capital Group ( Group ) is pleased to announce the following Board and Executive changes.
Mr Leylan Neep, CFO and Executive Director has resigned from the Board effective today, and is leaving the Group. We thank Mr Neep for his contributions both as a director, and a key executive over the past six years.
The Board now comprises an independent director, Mr Morgan Parker, two non-executive directors Mr Mark Hallett and Mr Philip Lee and the Executive Chairman, Mr Matthew Madsen.
Mr David Addis has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer and commenced today. Mr Addis brings to GARDA 28 years of corporate experience, including comprehensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) capability, corporate strategy and significant industry roles. Mr Addis has worked with organisations including Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers in M&A Director roles, and at Macquarie Bank in M&A and wholesale funds management roles. Mr Addis was formerly the Queensland Head of Investec Bank, and later the Managing Director, Corporate Strategy for Queensland Investment Corporation.
GCM Executive Chairman, Mr Matthew Madsen said: “We are delighted to welcome somebody of David’s experience and calibre to GARDA Capital Group, and I personally look forward to working closely with David in the continuing successful growth of both GARDA Capital and the GARDA Diversified Property Fund”.
