Gamma Communications plc, a leading technology based provider of communications services to the UK business market, announces that Richard Bligh, Director of Business Development, has informed the Board of his intention to retire from full time executive roles.  Richard will step down from the Board on 30 June 2017 but will remain an employee of Gamma until the end of September 2017.  Thereafter, the Company will continue to benefit from Richard's significant company knowledge and industry experience on a part-time consultancy basis.

Bob Falconer, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"It has been a real pleasure to work closely with Richard over the last thirteen years and he deserves much credit for his significant role in developing Gamma into the business it is today.

He has played an important role in the success Gamma has experienced, both as a private company and subsequently as a listed business, and he leaves Gamma well positioned to continue to take advantage of the significant opportunities in our market."

Richard Last, Chairman of Gamma, said:
