PROFIT ALERT

SUBSTANTIAL REDUCTION IN LOSS

This announcement is made by Gameone Holdings Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) pursuant to Rule 17.10 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the GEM (the “ GEM Listing Rules ”) of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “ Stock Exchange ”) and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined under the GEM Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The board (the “ Board ”) of directors (the “ Directors ”) of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders (the “ Shareholders ”) and potential investors of the Company that, based on a preliminary review of the Group’s unaudited consolidated management accounts for the nine months ended 30 September 2021 (the “ Period ”) and assessment of the latest information currently available to the Board, the consolidated loss attributable to the owners of the Company for the Period is expected to decrease significantly by not less than 50% as compared to the consolidated loss of approximately HK$5.5 million for the nine months ended 30 September 2020. The Board considers that such decrease in loss of the Group is mainly due to (i) the significant increase in game revenue of the Group’s license games, “Teddy Boy M (古惑仔 M)” and “ACE SOCCER ( 球場風雲)”, which have been launched since the second and third quarters of 2021 respectively; (ii) the steady increase in gross profit during the Period under review; and (iii) the ongoing measures to control its expenses.

This announcement is made solely on the basis of the preliminary assessment made by the Board with reference to the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the Period and latest information currently available to the Board. Such consolidated management accounts have not been audited or reviewed by the Company’s auditor nor reviewed by the audit committee of the Company and are subject to finalization and adjustments. Further details of the Group’s performance of the Period will be provided in an announcement of the quarterly results of the Group for the Period, which is expected to be published in or around mid-November 2021. The Shareholders and potential investors of the Company are advised to read carefully the said quarterly results announcement of the Company when it is published in accordance with the GEM Listing Rules.
