Galp Energia raises its stake in Setgás

Galp Energia informs that it has reached an agreement today with Enagás – SGPS, S.A. for the acquisition of 33.05% in Setgás – Sociedade de Distribuição de Gás Natural, SA, for a total consideration of c.€38 million.

This transaction will be done through Galp Energia´s fully owned subsidiary Galp Gas Natural Distribuição, S.A., increasing the stake in Setgás to 99.93%.

Setgás operates the medium and low pressure natural gas distribution network in the Portuguese region of Setúbal.

Completion of this transaction is subject to the customary approval from the relevant authorities.
