Directors' Subscriptions

PDMR Shareholdings

Total Voting Rights

Further to the announcement of 31 August 2017, Galileo is pleased to announce the completion of the Directors' Subscriptions as follows:

-      Colin Bird, Director, has subscribed for 1,250,000 new ordinary shares at 2.0p per ordinary share and now holds a total of 49,435,000 ordinary shares or 19.42% of Galileo's enlarged share capital;

-      Richard Wollenberg, Director, has subscribed for 300,000 new ordinary shares at 2.0p per ordinary share and now holds a total of 6,121,341 ordinary shares or 2.40% of Galileo's enlarged share capital; and

-      African Pioneer plc ("APP"), a connected party of Colin Bird, has subscribed for 2,500,000 new ordinary shares at 2.0p per ordinary share.

The Directors' Subscriptions, together with the Placing Shares described in the  announcement of 31 August 2017, will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares. Application will be made for the Placing Shares and Director's Subscriptions to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on or around 14 September 2017. 

Following the issue of the Placing Shares and the Director's Subscriptions, the Company's issued share capital will total 254,596,562 Ordinary Shares, with voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
