Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Gale Pacific Limited ( Gale Pacific or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Thomas Stianos as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective from Tuesday 17 October 2017.
Tom is an experienced director who is currently a non-executive director of Empired (ASX: EPD) Inabox (ASX: IAB), and the Chairman of Escient. He has extensive experience in executive/senior positions particularly in sales growth and is well versed in listed company board processes, corporate governance and delivering performance as well as compliance.
Recent prior directorships include: Director Australian Information Industry Association, CEO of SMS Management & Technology where he grew revenues from $80m to $350m and took the Company from a loss-making position to an EBITDA of $44m. Tom retired from these positions in 2015.
Tom received his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from the University of Melbourne and was awarded the Ford Australia prize for Economics. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Gale Pacific welcomes Tom to the Board and looks forward to his contribution to the Company.
An Appendix 3X (Initial Director’s Interest Notice) in relation to Mr Stianos will be lodged on 17 October 2017.
