APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

• Sharmila Watson, previously ANZ Finance Manager of a global chemicals company, to join Gold 50 as Chief Financial Officer

• Sharmila brings extensive accounting experience and qualifications, alongside a strong focus on process improvement as a hands-on finance manager to Gold 50

Gold 50 Limited (Gold 50 or the Company) (ASX: G50 ), is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharmila Watson as Chief Financial Officer of Gold 50, with effect from 1[st] October 2021.

Ms Watson is a well-respected and high performing finance professional with extensive experience built up throughout a career spanning over 10 years.

Ms Watson joins Gold 50 from Allnex (previously Nuplex Industries Limited). Nuplex was a global chemicals company, with sales exceeding AUD $1 billion. In 2016, Nuplex was acquired to form Allnex, with revenue exceeding EUR $2 billion. Ms Watson has had substantial financial management experience, having managed, and supervised the financial reporting team at Allnex for 5 years. She also possesses a strong focus on business improvement processes, including risk mitigation strategies.

As Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Finance Manager, Ms Watson led Allnex to numerous major achievements. These included her role as Global Project Lead for the implementation of Blackline and as a key member of the ANZ Finance team during the divestment of non-core business units and the subsequent acquisition of Nuplex by a private equity firm.

Ms Watson is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Graduate Diploma of Commerce and a Bachelor of Commence from the University of Auckland.
