STAR BIO-TECH<01051> - Share Consolidation Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of Star Bio-Tech (Holdings) Limited ("Star Bio-Tech") have appoved the consolidation of shares on the basis of 40 then existing ordinary shares ("Old Shares") of Star Bio-Tech into 1 new ordinary shares ("New Shares"). Effective from today (29/11/2001), a temporary counter under stock code 2999 and stock short name "STAR BIO-TECH" will be established for trading in board lots of 500 New Shares each to replace the previous counter (stock code: 1051) for trading in board lots of 20,000 Old Shares each.
