APPOINTMENT OF JOINT COMPANY SECRETARY AND CHANGE OF AUTHORISED REPRESENTATIVE

The board (the “ Board ”) of directors (the “ Directors ”) of Future Data Group Limited (the “ Company ”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Cheung Ting Pong (“ Mr. Cheung ”) has been appointed as the joint company secretary of the Company with effect from 2 July 2021, and Ms. Cheung Yuet Fan (“ Ms. Cheung ”), the current company secretary of the Company, will continue with the role and act as the other joint company secretary of the Company.

The Board announces that, with effect from 2 July 2021, Ms. Cheung has resigned as an authorised representative of the Company (the “ Authorised Representative ”) for the purpose of Rule 5.24 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on GEM (the “ GEM Listing Rules ”) of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “ Stock Exchange ”). Ms. Cheung has confirmed that she has no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters in relation to her resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company and the Stock Exchange.

The Board is pleased to announce that Mr. Cheung has been appointed as the Authorised Representative in replacement of Ms. Cheung with effect from 2 July 2021.

Mr. Cheung, aged 41, has over 15 years of experience in financial operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (accountancy) from the City University of Hong Kong and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Mr. Cheung has been a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and also a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Cheung is currently an independent non-executive director of Hope Life International Holdings Limited (stock code: 1683) and Longhui International Holdings Limited (stock code: 1007). He also served as the company secretary of Munsun Capital Group Limited (now known as Bay Area Gold Group Limited, stock code: 1194) from November 2016 to January

2017, an executive director and a non-executive director of Sanbase Corporation Limited (stock code: 8501) from July 2017 to October 2019, and an executive director, chief financial officer and the company secretary of Modern Dental Group Limited (stock code: 3600) from March 2011 to October 2016.

After the changes mentioned herein, the Authorised Representatives for the purpose of Rule 5.24 of the GEM Listing Rules are Mr. Phung Nhuong Giang, an executive Director, and Mr. Cheung, the joint company secretary of the Company.

The Board would like to extend its warm welcome to Mr. Cheung to his appointment.
