DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR

VERY SUBSTANTIAL ACQUISITION IN RELATION TO THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTIES IN KOREA

References are made to the announcement of Future Data Group Limited (the “ Company ”) dated 7 July 2020 and the supplemental announcement of the Company dated 10 August 2020 (the “ Announcement ”) in relation to, among other things, the Acquisition. Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

As disclosed in the Announcement, a circular (the “ Circular ”) of the Company containing, among other things, (i) further information on the Acquisition; and (ii) independent property valuation report on the Properties, together with a notice convening the EGM was expected to be despatched to the Shareholders on or before 30 September 2020.

Since additional time is required by the Company to prepare and finalise certain information for inclusion in the Circular, it is expected that the despatch date of the Circular will be postponed to a date falling on or before 30 October 2020.
