VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

BUSINESS UPDATE ON HONG KONG OPERATION

This announcement is made by Future Data Group Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) on a voluntary basis. The purpose of this announcement is to keep the shareholders and potential investors of the Company informed of the latest business development of the Group.

The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of the Company is pleased to announce that our newly acquired subsidiary, Maximus Consulting (Hong Kong) Limited (“ Maximus ”), has won a 3-year contract from one of the largest stock brokerage companies in Hong Kong to license our own Security Information and Event Management software product, named Black Diamond, to build a mini security operation center and provide managed security services at a contract sum of approximately Hong Kong Dollars 3.3 million.

Under the contracted period, Maximus will monitor security events, provide early warnings, incident analysis, and regular reports to the customer. This mini security operation center will cover over thirty devices, including firewalls, anti-DDoS, email servers, web servers, among others.

The Board believe that the winning of this contract is a recognition on our investment in software intellectual properties for Big Data and cyber security application which is a new milestone and a future growth driver for the Group.
