VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT ON BUSINESS UPDATE

This announcement is made by Future Data Group Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) on a voluntary basis. The purpose of this announcement is to keep the shareholders and potential investors of the Company informed of the latest business development of the Group.

The board (the “ Board ”) of directors (the “ Directors ”) of the Company is pleased to announce that the Military Finance Management Corps (the “ MFMC ”), being a direct unit under the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea, has recently selected the Group’s subsidiary, Global Telecom Co., Ltd., as the main subcontractor to upgrade the air force command and control system in a contract valued at approximately HK$56 million (the “ Contract ”).

The Board believes that the Contract places the Group in a better position to participate in other system integration projects in commercial airports and military class air bases in the Asia-Pacific region, which would facilitate the growth of the Group’s business and is thus in the interest of the Company and its shareholders as a whole.
