Large 3D seismic contract for Fugro

Fugro-Geoteam AS has been awarded a large 3D marine seismic contract in the Asian-Pacific region. The survey will cover deepwater areas of approximately 5,000 square kilometres. The work will be carried out by Fugro’s new vessel ‘Geo Atlantic’ during the period October 2006 – May 2007, directly upon completion of the vessels’ earlier announced work for Statoil in Norway, which is scheduled to start in May/June 2006.
