Forthcoming changes in Fugro Top management

The Supervisory Board has decided to propose to the shareholders during the Annual Shareholders meeting of Fugro N.V. on 10 May 2006 the appointment of Mr. P. (Paul) van Riel and Mr. A. (Arnold) Steenbakker as statutory directors of Fugro N.V. per 10 May 2006.

Mr. P. van Riel (1956) is a Dutch national. He is the founder of Fugro-Jason B.V., which he established in 1986. Jason B.V. was acquired by Fugro in 2001. In March 2004 he became a member of the Executive Committee as COO responsible for the Development & Production activities of the Geoscience division, which also includes the Marine Seismic activities.

Mr. A. Steenbakker (1957) is a Dutch national. Mr. Steenbakker joined the Executive Committee of Fugro N.V. in September 2005 as COO for the Onshore activities of the Geotechnical division. Before joining Fugro, Mr. Steenbakker gained international management experience during his career with Fluor Corporation in the oil and gas division since 1983. In his last position with Fluor as senior vice president he was responsible for the oil and gas division in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and for the development of the strategy and the implementation of Fluor's international maintenance services.

During their careers, both Mr. van Riel and Steenbakker have lived and worked abroad, including periods in the U.S.A. Both will maintain their current management responsibilities for their respective activities after appointment.

After approval of the annual shareholders meeting on 10 May 2006 the Board of Management will per that date consist of:

Furthermore the composition of the Executive Committee will also change. Mr. F.E. (Eugene) Toolan (1944), member of the Executive Committee and COO of the Offshore activities of the Geotechnical division as well as Airborne Survey, has announced his wish to retire per 1 July 2006.

From this date, he will be succeeded by Mr. W.S (Scott) Rainey (1954) as COO for Offshore Geotechnical activities. Mr Rainey, who is an American national, has been employed with Fugro since 1981 and has gained international management experience by working for Fugro in various management positions in the U.S.A, the Far East and the Netherlands.

Mr. S.J. (Steve) Thomson (1958) will succeed Mr. Toolan as COO for Airborne Survey activities. He joined Fugro in 1996 and has Australian nationality. Mr. Thomson has worked for Fugro in different international management positions, including manager of Fugro Airborne survey in Australia and Canada. Since September 2005, he has been based in Leidschendam as director for the worldwide activities of Airborne survey.

The role of the Executive Committee remains unaffected by the above mentioned changes.
