Frøy ASA – Delivery of wellboat newbuild

Frøya, Norway, November 4, 2021

Frøy ASA (“Frøy”) is pleased to announce that it has today taken delivery of the newbuild MS Åsværfjord from Havyard Leirvik.

MS Åsværfjord is Frøy´s sixth wellboat in the Havtrans series. The vessel has 3.200m3 capacity and a dual system for removal of sea lice with both freshwater treatment and Hydrolicer capability.

The vessel commenced a long-term time charter to a large Norwegian salmon farmer upon delivery.
