Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Frontier Digital Ventures Limited (“FDV”, ASX: FDV) is pleased to announce that Mr Eddie Lim has been appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining FDV, Mr Lim was the Finance Director at TAEL Partners, a leading private equity partner to ASEAN businesses specialising in growth oriented investments. During his time at TAEL Partners, Mr Lim led the management of the finance function of TAEL’s four funds in excess of US$1.3 billion and played the lead role in the development of TAEL’s Valuation Committee and Valuation Policy. Prior to this, Mr Lim held the positions of Head of Department for both the Treasury Department and Gift Card Department at Carrefour (Singapore and Malaysia), one of the world’s leading retailers operating more than 12,000 store across over 30 countries. Mr Lim was responsible for cash flow management, bank and leasing facilities, and also played a role in the team that successfully set up the e-Commerce ordering and delivering facility in Carrefour Singapore. Earlier in his career, Mr Lim held various other management and associate positions at firms including Ernst & Young, PwC and KPMG. Mr Lim’s broad sector exposure and significant experience in ASEAN markets, financial reporting, private equity and investing has positioned him well to support FDV in its mission to become the world leader in online marketplace businesses in emerging markets.

Mr Lim’s appointment coincides with the resignation of the current Chief Financial Officer, Ms Shiao Chan who will work with the Company over the next period to ensure a smooth transition. Ms Chan has been an invaluable contributor to FDV since assuming the role in July 2016. We wish her all the best in her future endevors.
