Appointment of a Chief Financial Officer

Frontier Developments plc (FTSE AIM: FDEV, "Frontier", the "Group"), a leading developer of video games based in Cambridge, UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Bevis as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 April 2017.

Alex, 41, will be based in Cambridge and will take over the CFO and Company Secretary roles from Neil Armstrong, who will take an operational role within the Group.

Alex joins Frontier from Xaar plc (FTSE: XAR), a world leader in industrial inkjet technology, where he has been Chief Financial Officer since February 2011.  Prior to this, Alex rose to VP Finance of Cambridge fabless semiconductor company CSR plc during a 10 year period during which CSR listed on the main market, and grew significantly both organically and through acquisition.  

David Braben, Chief Executive Officer of Frontier, commented:

His extensive experience in high growth technology companies means he will play an important role as we increase the value of the business by both furthering the success of our existing Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster franchises, and launching new franchises in due course.
