On February 21, 2014, BlackRock Inc., New York, USA has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its voting
rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg, Deutschland,
have exceeded the 5% threshold of the voting rights on February 19, 2014
and on that day amounted to 5.02% (this corresponds to 15499662 voting
rights). According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in
connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act),
5.02% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 15499662 voting rights)is
to be attributed to the company.
