On May 1, 2014, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, United
States has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that
via shares its voting rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad
Homburg, Germany, ISIN: DE0005785802, WKN: 578580 have fallen below the 5%
threshold of the voting rights on April 29, 2014 and on that day amounted
to 4.99% (this corresponds to 15,435,625 voting rights). According to
Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with sentence 2 of
the WpHG, 4.99% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 15,435,625 voting
rights) are to be attributed to the company.
