On May 22, 2014, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main,Germany
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its voting rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad
Homburg, Germany have fallen below the 3% threshold of the voting rights on
May 16, 2014 and on that day amounted to 1.36% (this corresponds to
4,198,637 voting rights). 0.01% of the voting rights (this corresponds to
31,670 voting rights) are attributed to the company in accordance with
Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG.

On May 22, 2014, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
