On April 25, 2012, BlackRock, Inc., New York, USA has informed us according
to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its voting rights on
Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg, Germany, ISIN:
DE0005785802, WKN: 578580 have fallen below the 5% threshold of the voting
rights on April 19, 2012 and on that day amounted to 4.99% (this
corresponds to 14974211 voting rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 4.99% of the voting rights (this corresponds to
14974211 voting rights) is to be attributed to the company.
