On May 23, 2012, BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc., New York, United States
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its voting Rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad
Homburg, Germany, have exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on
May 17, 2012 and on that day amounted to 3.10% (this corresponds to
9,294,207 Voting Rights). According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1,
No. 6 in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.10% of the Voting Rights
(this corresponds to 9,294,207 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the
company.
