On June 29, 2012, BlackRock Inc., New York, United States has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting
Rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg, Deutschland,
have exceeded the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on June 25, 2012 and on
that day amounted to 5.001% (this corresponds to 15029419 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 5.001% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
15029419 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
