Reappointment of External Auditor

Freightways Group Limited (NZX/ASX:FRW) advises that, at the request of the Board, it has undertaken a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the provision of external audit services that was overseen by its Audit & Risk Committee.

Four major accounting firms were initially invited to respond to the RFP, and their proposals were evaluated using a rigorous process covering different aspects of the external auditor’s function, including but not limited to fees.

At the conclusion of this process, the Board of Directors has resolved to re-appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers as the Group’s external auditor.
