Vancouver, British Columbia – (January 30, 2020) – Freeport Resources Inc. (TSX-V: FRI) (“Freeport”) is very pleased to announce appointment of two new Directors, Scott Davis CGA CPA and Allan Glowach B.Sc. They replace outgoing Director and COO, Shervin Teymouri M.Eng. P.Eng. who has stepped down after a 2 1/2 year tenure. We thank Shervin for his many contributions, and welcome Scott and Allan.

Scott Davis is a partner at Cross Davis & Co. LLP, a Canadian CPA firm providing accounting and management services to publicly-listed companies primarily in the mining, oil and gas and biotech industries. Davis has acted as CFO for several companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, and has extensive senior management experience, with 4 years at Appleby as an Assistant Financial Controller, 2 years at Davidson & Company LLP CPA's an Auditor and 5 years with Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. as an Accounting Manager.

Allan Glowach is an independent businessman as well as a consultant in the oil & gas industry with over 30 years experience. He currently sits on the board of E.S.I. Environmental Sensors Inc. (ESV.H).
