Committed off take to end of 2017

Freehill Mining Limited (“Freehill”) is pleased to announce that Compania Del Pacifico S.A. (“CAP”) and Freehill, through its wholly owned subsidiary Yerbas Buenas SpA, have signed an amendment to their original Iron Ore Purchase Contract allowing for ongoing off-take of iron ore from the Yerbas Buenas project until the end of 2017.

After several site visits by representatives of CAP, deliveries have commenced and will continue for the remainder of the year.

The effective off take agreement ensures that Freehill will continue expanding its mining operations and licensing requirements.

CAP is Chile’s largest iron ore producer and a highly valued customer.

The Yerbas Buenas Project Area is located 30 kilometres north of the city of La Serena in the IV Region of Coquimbo, Chile. The Yerbas Buenas Project spans 398 hectares. There is an existing operating mine and established commercial sales relationships with key partners in Chile.
