Notice of Annual Conference and update on FY outlook

Sports Direct International plc (LSE: SPD), the UK's leading sports retailer, is today hosting its annual conference, attended by 900 of its employees and partners from all of its major third party suppliers. Attendees at the conference will receive updates in relation to both current and future performance. These updates are in line with market expectations at underlying EBITDA of £380m but are ahead of underlying PBT and EPS. This is primarily as a result of our continued and prudent depreciation policy and lower interest charges. Net debt at 26 April 2015 is circa £60m (27 April 2014: £212m).

A series of presentations will be given by the management team covering the continued investment in our large format UK city centre stores and in our ten Austrian megastores. In addition employees will receive an update on our plans for combined gym and sports retail concepts, following on from the successful launch last year of our Aintree combined concept.

No further price sensitive information will be disclosed.

Sports Direct will announce its preliminary results for the year ended 26 April 2015 on 16 July 2015.
