Francotyp-Postalia: Sven Meise joins Management Board at Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG
Birkenwerder, 19 November 2014. With effect from 1 February 2015, IT expert Sven Meise will join the Management Board of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG, the multi-channel provider for mail communication. He will join the current two-member board – comprising CEO and CFO Hans Szymanski and Thomas Grethe – as CSO.
In future, Meise will be responsible for the business units freesort GmbH, iab GmbH and Mentana-Claimsoft GmbH. His responsibilities include expanding the solution and outsourcing business and establishing and expanding the De-Mail business.
Klaus Röhrig, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, explains: “In Sven Meise, we’ve found the ideal person to push ahead with the rapidly growing divisions in the FP Group’s solutions and outsourcing business.” The subsidiary Mentana-Claimsoft is a De-Mail provider and is set to provide a growing contribution to sales and operating income in the next few years. iab has developed innovative software solutions that will further tap their market potential. As a consolidation expert for collecting business mail, freesort also has good growth opportunities.
Meise has many years’ experience in the IT and software solutions business. As a business management graduate, the 43-year-old initially worked in various positions at IBM Deutschland GmbH, in Germany and abroad. At TA Triumph-Adler GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Japanese Kyocera Corporation, he subsequently occupied a number of different senior management positions, including as Head of the Professional Services and Information Technology Divisions. Meise also has many years’ experience in the print, document and output management industry.
FP CEO and CFO Hans Szymanski, said: “We got off to an early start on developing our digital communication business, and we’re systematically pushing these activities. Sven Meise’s appointment emphases the great importance of this business unit.”
