Francotyp-Postalia extends contract with Chief Sales Officer Andreas Drechsler
Birkenwerder, 10 January 2011. The Supervisory Board of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG has extended its current contract with Chief Sales Officer Andreas Drechsler until 22 February 2015. As CSO, Drechsler has headed up global operations since February 2009. Together with his colleague Hans Szymanski, he is advancing the ongoing strategic development of the manufacturer of franking machines into a global service provider for analogue and digital mail management.
In a statement, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Prof. Michael Hoffmann said: 'The FP Group is on the right path following the start of its restructuring. By extending Mr. Drechsler's contract, we are guaranteeing the continuity of the successful operative and strategic work by the Management Board.'
CSO Drechsler commented: 'I see the extension of my contact as both an incentive and an obligation to continue expanding the FP Group's forward-looking position on the market. We will extend our lead in the field of digital mail management, where we also have a strong partner at our side in United Internet. At the same time, we will further consolidate our global presence.' In 2010, the FP Group ensured its entry on the French market for franking machines and founded sales companies in Sweden and India.
In November 2010, the Supervisory Board extended its contract with CEO and CFO Szymanski until 31 December 2014.
