Franchetti S.p.A.: Appointment of Nicolò Caffo as Co-General Manager

Arzignano (VI), January 19, 2026 – Franchetti S.p.A. (Ticker BIT: FCH), the holding company of the multinational Franchetti Group, specialized in advanced diagnostics solutions, digital monitoring and predictive maintenance of infrastructure, announces the appointment of Nicolò Caffo as Co-General Manager, in charge of the Engineering and Services division, reporting directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Paolo Franchetti.

Over recent years, the Group has recorded significant double-digit growth, accompanied by a progressive international expansion. Today, Franchetti operates on a stable basis in Italy and Europe, Latin America and North America, providing innovative engineering services across the entire infrastructure life cycle, from design to asset management, including digitalization, monitoring, diagnostics, advanced maintenance and long-term investment planning. Looking ahead, growth prospects are supported by a rapidly expanding market driven by increased investments in existing infrastructure, rising demand for high value-added technological services, and the growing integration of traditional engineering, digital tools and predictive approaches. In this context, the Group aims to continue its growth path in a structured and scalable manner, further raising standards of technical quality and operational efficiency.

The appointment is part of Franchetti Group's ongoing strengthening and further qualification process, in response to increasing operating volumes and the growing complexity of civil engineering projects. In this phase, Nicolò Caffo will lead Engineering and Services activities in Italy and the European Union, with an operational base in Italy. The Software division, led by Gianluca Del Fabbro, will continue to support the Engineering and Services area, focusing on the development and customization of digital solutions in line with client requirements and market evolution

In his role as Co-General Manager, Eng. Caffo will be responsible for the overall governance of civil engineering services, with particular focus on:

• raising of technical quality and order management standards;
• planning and development of activities in the reference markets;
• tenders and award procedures;
• design, verifications, construction management and safety;
• organization of the internal structure and development of skills.

Nicolò Caffo brings to Franchetti solid international experience in infrastructure business management and transformation and growth processes. He has held senior executive roles, including General Manager of Ecorodovias in Brazil (Gavio/ASTM Group), where he coordinated operations, engineering, development and innovation in complex, capital-intensive environments, during which period he also worked with the Franchetti Group's services.

Previously, he worked at Autostrade per l'Italia, with responsibilities as Country Manager for the United States and Eastern Europe and in technological development, and gained experience in strategic consulting at McKinsey & Company. Eng. Caffo began his professional career at Matildi+Partners, a company that is now part of the Franchetti Group. Most recently, he served as General Manager of D-Marin Italy, operating in the port infrastructure sector.
