FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft: Economic crisis overcome – upswing confirmed

In first half year of BY 2010/11 (01.07.2010 - 31.12.2010), turnover as
well as profit again leveled up to the figures before the crisis. The group
finally managed the crisis achieving an increase in turnover of 40% i.e.
21.9 million EUR.

FORTEC's success is based on a considerable, more than 10-fold increase of
its net income after tax from 50.569 EUR to 593.470 EUR. The group's total
result in first half year raised to 799.472 Euro which is more than above
average and impressively proves that the company gained back its power of
profitability.

Especially in the section of power supplies with 13.2 million EUR turnover
and an EBIT of 0.8 million EUR, the group nearly came up to the figures
before the crisis. In the section of data visualization and a turnover of
8.7 million EUR along with a slightly positive EBIT, the group tried hard
to catch up with the turnover decrease based to the recession.

Due to the positive situation within the electronic industry, FORTEC is
positive to return again to former profitability during the quarters of
this year in order to generate further growth.
