FORTEC Results continuously stable – acquisition in Embedded Computers Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– FORTEC Results continuously stable – acquisition in Embedded Computers During fiscal year 2002/03 (01.07.2002 to 30.06.2003) showing a turnover of EUR 31 million (last year EUR 35 Mio.) and due to increased margins, FORTEC again achieved the same operative result (EBITA) of EUR 2,4 as last year. Due to a lower tax rate, the yearly net income, calculated according to IAS, increased from EUR 1 Mio. in last year to EUR 1,2 million in fiscal year 2002/03. In spite of better general indicators, the commercial situation remains difficult. Based on continuous weak turnover, however, we expect a result same as last years level for the first quarter (01.07. to 30.09.03). The impulse for 2004 might be the acquisition of a competitor per 01.01.2004 in the field of Embedded Computers rating an annual potential of EUR 6 million.
