Forrestania Appoints Highly Experienced GM Operations

Forrestania Resources Limited (ASX: FRS) ("FRS" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Baumgartel as GM Operations, effective 19 May 2026.

Mr Baumgartel is a highly experienced mining executive with more than 20 years' experience across underground and open pit mining operations, project development, commissioning, operational turnarounds and supply chain management.

He has been a General Manager of multiple operations during his extensive career with Barrick Mining Corporation, including managing the Darlot underground mine in Western Australia, Jabal Sayid underground mine in Saudi Arabia and the Lumwana copper mine in Zambia. He also served as Barrick's Global Vice President Supply Chain & Maintenance and was appointed a Partner of Barrick in 2017 in recognition of his leadership and operational performance.

More recently, Mr Baumgartel served as Chief Operating Officer of Gascoyne Resources Limited and was responsible for the management of the Dalgaranga Gold Mine. In his immediate previous role, he led the turnaround of operations at the Catalyst Metals Ltd, Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia as General Manager Operations.
