TRADING HALT

The securities of Leaf Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 31 October 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Leaf Resources Limited (ASX: LER), (the “ Company ”) requests an immediate trading halt on its securities.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information in connection with this request:

• A trading halt is necessary as the Company intends to make an announcement to the ASX with respect to the proposed placements of shares under Listing Rule 7.1;

• The Company requests that the trading halt remains in place until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Monday, 31 October 2016 or the announcement to the market of the proposed placements;

• The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted; and

• The Company is not aware of any further information necessary to inform the market of the trading halt.
