FNAC EXPENDS ITS MUSIC POSITION WITH THE LAUNCH OF A CONSUMER STREAMING SERVICE

On Monday, March 3, Fnac, the leading music seller in France and a leader in the concert ticket market, is launching an unlimited mobile Internet listening service named "Fnac Jukebox" www.fnacjukebox.com.

This new service will be available through several monthly subscription plans, including an unbeatable offer for €2 a month, without advertising and without commitment.

"Fnac Jukebox" offers access to a catalog of several million titles with excellent listening quality (coding at 320 kbps), which will allow subscribers to create their own music library, design playlists and share them with their friends. They will also benefit from advice and recommendations from "guides," Fnac stores and professionals from the music world. Exclusive editorial content, previews of songs or albums, new video releases will all enhance the listening experience. And, finally, the ergonomics and graphics of the site have been designed for simple and intuitive use by consumers.

The service also includes the Digicopy offer, which already allows free downloads of the digital version of any CD or record purchased from Fnac.

The brand wants the "Fnac Jukebox" to give the greatest number of people the chance to discover a new way to listen to music. It will rely on its network of stores to offer customers demonstrations and introduce this new music usage.

A subscription for €4.99 a month offering unlimited listening for millions of songs on a computer.

The mobility option

For €5 a month, subscribers can choose the mobility option that offers the possibility of accessing the "Fnac Jukebox" listening service from a smartphone, tablet, other computers, etc. – including offline.

"Fnac Jukebox" cards and gift packages

In order to spread the word to as many people as possible, Fnac will also offer cards and subscription packages through its store network in France and on its Fnac.com website.
