Orrex Resources Ltd advises the following shares have been allotted pursuant to the recent Rights Issue by the company and placement of the shortfall

The company has also received funds for the subscription for a further 3,333,333 shares at the Rights Issue price by a party associated with Guy Lyons, director of the company. The allottment of these shares requires shareholder approval, and a shareholder meeting is expected to be called in the near future to seek that approval.
Approval and issue of the further 3,333,333 shares will bring the total allottments to 36.68m shares ($1.1m), being the full 1:1 Rights Issue total.
