FOLLOW‐UP DRILL PROGRAM UNDERWAY AT GOLDEN MILE SOUTH
Orrex Resources Ltd ( Orrex or the Company; ASX: ORX) has commenced a follow‐up aircore drill program on two targets at its Golden Mile South project.
The results of the Company’s initial drill program were significant. They indicated the possibility of a mineralised structure at each of Targets 9 and E3 South. Orrex drill holes potentially intersected the lower grade alteration zones of mineralised structures. Examples of these zones are shown in the “weathered mushroom” and “alteration halo” in the figure below.

The follow‐up program will be completed in two stages and is designed to further delineate the potential structures at each target. The aim is to plan a deeper RC program directed at intersecting the main lodes of mineralised structures.
Stage 1 is designed to complete up to 2220m of drilling consisting of 37 angled aircore holes.
Target 9
Target 9 is located southeast of the Kalgoorlie Super Pit. The initial target is near surface mineralisation in volcano‐sedimentary rocks. Orrex is also evaluating a deeper exploration target hosted by Golden Mile Dolerite.
The results from earlier programs indicate that the gold anomalies cluster towards the north of the target area. This may signify a NE mineralised structure. The zone of strong anomalies can be traced over at least 400 metres and is open to the north.
Three lines will be drilled at 200 metre line spacing. They will head north from the gold intersections encountered during initial drill program.
Empirical Target E3 South
Target E3 South is defined by anomalous gold in deep weathering over at least 800 metres.
Two bedrock anomalies intersected in the initial drilling program were associated with weathered sediment and felsic porphyry. The results support the interpretation of a northerly control on gold mineralisation. The anomaly remains open to the west, as well as along strike to the north and south.
A total of 12 holes for 600 metres have been planned to test the western margin and along strike.
Stage 1 of the program is expected to be completed in three weeks. The results and interpretation should become available in April of 2011.
Yours faithfully
