Flyr AS - Traffic figures for November 2021

Flyr AS - Traffic figures for November 2021

Flyr had a total of 60.582 guests travelling to 12 destinations in November.

Booking status entering the month was good, but the development in the pandemic

throughout the period negatively impacted demand.

Total capacity with four aircraft in operation in November was 98.3 million

available seat kilometers (ASK), with a load factor of 54.5 %. Average load

factor since start of operations was 47.0 %.

"We have had a positive momentum in the weeks following the reopening of society

earlier this fall, with good demand also for international destinations. Flyr

has been in operation since the end of June and given the situation we have

faced with several new waves of the Covid pandemic, the development in the load

factor so far has been as expected", says Tonje Wikstrøm Frislid, CEO of Flyr.

Up until mid-November, development in both prices and demand was positive,

before changes in infection rates affected the market negatively during the

second half of the month. Unit revenue (PASK) for November was NOK 0.27, while

average unit revenue since start-up was NOK 0.24. November is generally a month

with lower travel activity before Christmas travels begins in December.

In November, Flyr had a regularity in operations of 98.6 % and punctuality of

86.8 %. The development in punctuality is influenced by the increase in

international flights during the month.

Since the first flight on June 30[th] this year, the company has had 224,331

guests on board our flights.

Flyr was established during the Covid-19 pandemic with the aim to build a

sustainable and profitable business model by adapting and scaling production to

meet the needs of the market. Expansion plans and the route network will be

adjusted continuously depending on the pandemic situation.

The airline is currently operating four aircraft on domestic routes in Norway

and to European destinations. The company plans to have five aircraft in

operation by the end of the year, with the ambition to increase the production

capacity to 12 - 18 aircraft at year end 2022.
