On October 7, 2016, Amaya Inc. issued a joint news release with William Hill PLC (“William Hill”) noting the recent press speculation and confirming that it is in discussions with William Hill regarding a potential all share merger of equals. A copy of the news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
