Appointment of a new Non-Executive Director

The Company is pleased to announce that Emer Timmons will be appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and a member of the Audit Committee immediately following our Annual General Meeting today.

Emer is Chief Marketing Officer and President of Strategic Sales at Brightstar Corporation, headquartered in Miami, a position she has held since July 2016. Prior to this, Emer held several senior executive roles at BT, including President of BT Group Strategic Deals and Customer Engagement, as well as leading BT’s Global Services UK business.

Commenting on her appointment, Gary McGann, Chairman of Paddy Power Betfair, said “We are delighted to welcome Emer as a Non-Executive Director. She brings with her a wealth of global experience specifically in sales and marketing, retail and distribution and will serve as a great addition to the Board.”
