Flughafen Wien AG acquires the World Trade Center at Vienna International Airport

Flughafen Wien AG / Miscellaneous

Release of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory
AG.
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.

Flughafen Wien AG has acquired the World Trade Center at Vienna
International Airport – an office building with roughly 18,000 m² of
rentable space – from the previous owner retroactive as of 1 January 2007.
The relevant contracts were signed recently by the parties to the
transaction. The World Trade Center will now be known as the Office Park 3.
This building was constructed in 1989 on property owned by Flughafen Wien
AG, across from the arrivals hall and adjacent to the nh-Hotel.

Vienna Airport Office Park: 64,000 m² of rentable space
Office Park 1 and 2 have an occupancy rate of 94%. Office Park 1 opened in
autumn 2004 and Office Park 2– the new headquarters for the Austrian
Airlines Group – will be turned over to the tenant this summer. The current
high level of occupancy led to the decision by Flughafen Wien AG to start
the third phase of this project, whereby the available options included the
construction of a new building or the acquisition of the World Trade
Center. This building will now be renovated to reflect the standards of the
Office Park, and will then be operated as Office Park 3. Together with this
third facility, Flughafen Wien AG will have 64,000 m² of offices at the
heart of the airport. The Office Park 3 still has space available for
rental.

The office location with optimal infrastructure
The office sector of Vienna International Airport is located close to the
airport railway station, which is currently under renovation to also
accommodate international long-distance trains. The City Airport Train
(CAT) takes passengers non-stop in 16 minutes from the Centre of Vienna to
the airport every half-hour. Other plus points include opportunities for
parking in car parks and open-air lots, a wide variety of restaurants and
shops, and – last but not least – travelling time of only ten minutes from
the office to the departure gates for flights to 176 destinations
throughout the world.
