Change in FLSmidth Group Executive Management

Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority No. 16-2012, 13 March 2012

Mr. Christian Jepsen, Group Executive Vice President of FLSmidth & Co. A/S since 2005 has decided to seek new challenges outside FLSmidth and therefore wishes to resign at the latest by end of July this year.

Until then, Mr. Jepsen will continue as member of the Group Executive Management, heading the Bulk Materials Division, and prior to Mr. Jepsen's departure, an internal replacement as head of the Bulk Materials Division is expected to be in place.

Mr. Jepsen has been heading the Group's Minerals activities since 2007 out of Pennsylvania, USA, and he has been employed by the FLSmidth Group since 1990. Mr. Jepsen has successfully grown the Minerals business since the acquisition of GL&V Process and has played an instrumental role in defining the new strategy and the organisational structure to support the strategy - as announced on 21 February 2012.

"We regret that Christian Jepsen has decided to leave FLSmidth, however, sometimes you just have to pursue the good opportunities, and we are pleased that Christian is joining one of our major customers, and we wish him all the best and a lot of continued success," says Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen.
