Global ETP Value Traded in December 2016 shows a decline versus November 2016, but remains well above average levels over 2016 as a whole. The average VIX for the month of December reaches 12.47 (versus 15.24 in November), with a low of 10.93 and a high of 14.72. Over whole 2016, the average level in the VIX is 15.83 (Source: Bloomberg).
