NEWS RELEASE

Auckland, March 17, 2017 – Fletcher Building has today requested that a halt be placed on the trading of its shares on the NZX and ASX exchanges.

Removal of the halt is pending completion of a review of the financial performance of the Construction division and its impact on earnings guidance previously provided to the market.

An announcement regarding earnings guidance for the 2017 financial year is expected to be made prior to the NZX and ASX exchanges opening on Monday 20 March 2017. Until then the trading halt will remain in place.
