APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE - HEAVY BUILDING PRODUCTS

Auckland, 25 February 2015 –

Fletcher Building Limited advises that Matt Crockett has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive – Heavy Building Products.

Matt is currently Chief Turnaround Officer at Spark New Zealand, where he has been responsible for Spark’s pan-company turnaround programme focused on cost, capital and revenue improvement initiatives. Prior to that Matt was Chief Development Officer and Managing Director of APN News and Media’s Digital Group. Prior to this Matt had a number of senior roles at Telecom New Zealand including responsibility for retail and wholesale business customers, and before this worked for international management consultancy McKinsey & Company.

Matt has a Masters of Philosophy from Oxford University (UK) and a Bachelor of Engineering from Curtin University in Western Australia. He will take up his new role in July 2015.

Fletcher Building chief executive officer Mark Adamson said he was delighted to welcome Matt to the company.
