Distribution division management change

Auckland, 27 June 2013 - Fletcher Building announces that John Beveridge has resigned as chief executive of the Distribution division, and is to leave Fletcher Building to pursue personal interests. He will remain in his role until the end of July 2013 to allow for a smooth transition. An announcement on a successor will be made in due course.

John was appointed to the role in August 2009 and since that time has implemented a performance improvement programme that has substantially improved the operating efficiency and customer focus of the division.

Fletcher Building Chief Executive Officer Mark Adamson thanked John for his contribution to the company over the past 15 years.

“John has made an enormous contribution to Fletcher Building in a number of senior roles including Pacific Steel, Golden Bay Cement, and his most recent role leading the PlaceMakers business. We wish him well for the future as he takes on fresh challenges”, Mr Adamson said.
